Actually, it IS easy being green

Though green is my favorite color, I ashamed to admit I haven't been very environmentally conscious in my life. We didn't recycle regularly, used disposable diapers, and I don't have the first clue when earth day is. But something has come along to change all that and that is accessories. As soon as cute bags became a "necessity" in being green, I was all over it. That I can justify my purchase of tote bags by saying I'm saving the earth is a beautiful concept. So, though I may have gotten to this place of environmental consciousness through the back door of fashion, at least I got there, right?

Some of my inspiration

We even recycle now, too!

As for disposable diapers, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Although, I have been inspired by a fellow blogger to consider cloth diapers and, well, they are really cute. I wish I wasn't this shallow, but I just am. Remember...green is the new black!

Oh, you make me laugh!!! It's all about the cute bags, right? : ) Whatever works.

We're recycling more since there are recycle bins close to church. Makes it easier for me to remember to get rid of the load in the back of the van since I drive by those big green bins.

Yeah, about cloth diapers. . .it sounds like a good idea if they could all be diapers containing #1 only. However, the thought of cleaning out #2 diapers and then stains, etc. . . yuck! Not to mention the fact that one time when I had to clean Brody's poo poo pj pants in the toliet, I accidentally let go and flushed them down! I don't think cloth diapers and I would get along. Plus, I read that it ends up costing the same from all of the laundering which creates waste water. If you're up for the challenge thoguh, go for it. I was just trying to help you justify your/my shallowness in the matter. =) I'm glad you're surviving kid-free.

I am just getting ready to write a post about cloth diapers!

I cannot get over the fact that your kiddos are so big! I was just holding baby Jack yesterday!
