Greetings from the Household of Sick. This week we had three, count 'em, three snow days. It could have been so fun and festive. But strep throat was kind of a party-pooper. As of now, Tate is the only one still sick. Emmie is back at school. And Jack has been totally fine. Though he kept saying his stomach hurt. And his left ankle hurt. And his right elbow hurt. Oh, and it felt like little bugs were eating his hip. He doesn't like to be left out of things.
Thanfully, Miss Loveliness has also been Miss Healthiness
so far. But she hasn't exactly been Miss Cleanliness. She's wearing the same outfit today that she wore yesterday and to bed last night. Maybe I've done that a few times this week as well. And her hair, though cute, is not exactly well-coiffed...

You would think since I have been totally housebound for a week that I would have cleaned the house and done laundry. Nope...

What we
did do was watch movies. The kids had so much screen time that they actually got sick of it. That
never happens.
But hopefully life can get back to normal soon. Whatever that means.

Sorry to hear about the strep! I hate that stuff! We have NO excuse for doing no school this week, as our school has no snow days. We watched Christmas movies and baked cookies and made cake pops. I guess we will make it up later!
Oh man, so sorry to hear about the sickness. Don't worry about the laundry, it is not going anywhere. :) Feel better SOON!
I've been staring at my overloaded laundry room all week...I'll probably stare at it again tomorrow! Glad the kids seem to be on the mend!
...and now a weekend! Crazy, huh?
And then just one week until Christmas break. Are you going to make it? If the laundry takes over, you can come stay at my house.
So sorry you have the sickies at your house....:( WE LOVED our snow days!!!! So nice to spend some family time together. So, um, "somebody" wants to know if RV is one of the movies you watched??? :)
So sorry your snow days were also sick days! Glad you all are starting to feel better - and that sweet pea didn't get it!
Oh, man...I had strep this week, too. And, my in-laws were here. I should have come over!
Hope everyone is on the mend now!

Is there something wrong with me if it encourages me to see someone else's huge pile of laundry? Hope everyone is feeling better in time for a few days of school before enjoying Christmas break!
...and suddenly I dont feel so bad about my laundry and "deurmekaar" (untidy) place! :-)
besides you have a good excuse - u spending time with the kids... and they HAVE been sick...
Sorry you've been sick! Don't feel too bad, my laundry pile in the living room is just as bad ;) And as for Miss Lulu's hair...you should see what Anara's looks like lately after having a snow hat on!!!
