The honest truth is that her referral-anniversary came and went this year without us celebrating it at all. But spending the weekend with her extended fan club family
was probably the best way to celebrate anyway.

What fun memories! I recall being with our little family at the Omaha Zoo when you called to tell us about your referral!
Now, I enjoy having your blessing in Sunday School...even if she did say I was weird.
I've "stalked" your blog for awhile because I love following the stories of adoption, but I just wanted to comment on how much I think your Luci looks like her brothers and sister! I see that in so many families with adoption as part of their formation, and I love the way God seems to confirm that this is the way he intended your family to be through these similarities.
For some reason, I was just thinking about the shower we had for you and Luci this morning before I got on my computer. Happy memories!
