He laid out his clothes last night.
He did his hair this morning.
Yesterday, he looked like this...
I'm not too worried since he told me, "I see myself as a stand by the food line kind of guy". Somehow I think he'll be joined by all the other 6th grade boys.

I agree! How does this happen?? I keep telling my children all the time yesterday you were 1 or 3...and they smile, laugh at me, and say no mom I wasn't. Then they say- your mom let you grow up so you have to let me. Why is it that your children even think of this?? This crazy thing called parenting- really creative of our Lord!!!
Too funny. I was just thinking today that I can't believe that our older daughter has been home nearly 2 years already. Before I blink, she'll be at that 6th grade dance, too!
What a cute picture....how old was he??? I can't wait to hear how it went!
Your music is getting me excited for our referral. Baby Love is my ring tone for our referral and once we have our referral I am changing it to Ain't No Mountain High Enough!!! We must think a lot a like:)

PRECIOUS. And he still is a cutie! I have a feelin' that with his cuteness he may be at the food line but there will be lots of girls giggling as they walk up to get food too:). can't wait to hear how it went!
hilarious...kristi
Ah, he's so cute! Isn't funny how one day they are three and the next thirteen?!
BTW, I didn't even know there was a dance. Last year, Tyler went to all of them and I haven't heard a thing about them this year. I guess I thought it was just a Goodrich deal. Guess not.
oh my goodness..i completely just teared up seeing that picture of your son. i do not know your son, but just seeing him my youngest ones age makes me almost ugly cry. i wish they would stop. just stop this growing buisiness.
I cannot believe he was at a middle school dance. Are we really that old? I remember my middle school dances. I can't wait to hear how it went.

Seeing that picture reminds me of the scene from Father of the Bride when Steve Martin keeps seeing his daughter at age 6. "Dad, I met a man in Rome, and he's brilliant, and we're getting married!"
Hope the dance was great! Can't wait to hear about it! Middle schoolers are my FAVORITE age to teach :)
I don't want to think about this being around the corner for me too!!! Let us know how it goes :)
No..... he can't be at a middle school dance! Well.. i can always say that I was his first date :-) love the picture! I took that while babysitting... the years fly!
